Background

Evorra is a technology company building products and services to help companies control, protect, and manage personal data.  We understand the importance of a data privacy policy that is transparent and protective of Personal Data in the operation of our business.  For this reason, our Privacy Policy reflects that we only collect and use Personal Data in ways that are consistent with our obligations and your rights under the law.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) concerns you, the user of www.evorra.com (“Evorra Website”) and Evorra Limited (“Evorra”).  This Privacy Policy also contains notices that concern our data collection and processing outside of the Evorra Website, such as how we manage information we may collect by email, via LinkedIn, or through general business activities.  The Privacy Policy applies to our use of any and all Data collected in relation to the use of the Evorra Website.  Only users who accept the Privacy Policy should use the  Evorra Website.

1.1          We are Evorra Limited and we own and operate our website www.evorra.com. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13091873 and have our registered office at C/O Tc Group 6th Floor Kings House, 9-10 Haymarket, London, United Kingdom, SW1Y 4BP. We are a limited company. We are finalising our registration for VAT in the UK.

This Privacy Policy explains how we use Personal Data: how it is collected, how it is held, and how it is processed. It also explains your rights under the law relating to your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy does not extend to any other websites that can be accessed from this Website (apart from any websites operated by Evorra) or any links we may provide to social media websites.

We use the services of other companies for operating some aspects of our business.  These companies may have access to certain Personal Data provided by you.  Data usage by such companies is limited to the extent required by them to perform the services that we request.  Any use for other purposes is strictly prohibited.  Furthermore, any Data that is processed by third party companies shall be processed within the terms of this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

We have set out the types of company and service we use because the precise identity of each supplier may change from time to time and we have decided it is not practical or meaningful to provide a list of companies. Website Data Usage:

The Evorra Website uses third party analytics tools to provide us with a website activity overview, and as such automatically collects Cookie and usage data, as well as information about your computer or device (such as IP address and browser settings). Heat mapping services are used to display the areas of a page where users most frequently move the mouse or click. This shows where the points of interest are. These services make it possible to monitor and analyse web traffic and keep track of user behaviour. Some of these services may record sessions and make them available for later visual playback.

We use various third party services for our technical infrastructure (i.e. hosting and monitoring of the Evorra Website, and traffic management), some of which may process Personal Data.

You may share Personal Data in the context of general business with Evorra.  We use third party services for managing such communications, such as our email and CRM providers.

We may obtain data about you from other sources, such as via email (not through our website), publicly available sources of information (e.g. your own website or LinkedIn), from meeting or speaking to you in person, or from other companies, including our subcontractors.

How we use your data:

We use your Data gathered through our website to understand how our users are using the Evorra Website and to deliver relevant content to you.

We use your contact details to handle our correspondence with you and we may also send you product and marketing messages related to our products. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails from us, you may opt out either by clicking the link in the email, or by contacting us.  You may also manage your preferences and specify what types of email communication you do wish to receive from us

We may also use your contact details (including email address) to contact you in the normal course of business. We use third party services to carry out other business functions which may process your Data, namely for accounting, file storage, contract execution and management, audio and video conferencing, project management and scheduling,

We shall not share your Data with any other company for marketing purposes without first seeking your explicit (opt-in) consent.

Legal basis for processing Personal Data:

Our lawful basis for processing your Personal Data as described in this section is that it is necessary for our legitimate interest of operating our business, informing our marketing strategy and developing our products and services.

When we process your data to operate your account with us, our lawful basis is that it is necessary for us to do so in performance of our contract with you.  Equally, we process Data related to our suppliers on the same basis.

Where your contact details (name and email) have been entered into our system to invite you to take part in a project, we rely on our legitimate interest for such processing, until you create your account, after which point we are processing your data on the legal basis that it is necessary to perform our contract with you.

Storing or transferring your Personal Data

6.1. All Personal Data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR at all times. For more details on security see section 11, below.

6.2. Unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so, and subject to clause 5, your Data will not be disclosed to third parties.  This does not include other companies within our group.

6.3. All Personal Data is stored securely in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018.

This website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites including websites operated by us.  This Privacy Policy does not extend to your use of such websites.  Users are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.

Changes of Business Ownership and Control

8.1. Evorra Limited may, from time to time, expand or reduce our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Evorra Limited.  Data provided by Users will, where it is relevant to any part of our business so transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use the Data for the purposes for which it was originally supplied to us.

Your Right to Withhold Information

9.1. You may access the Evorra Website without providing any Data at all.  However, to use all features and functions available on the Website you may be required to submit certain Data.
