Evorra has closed a $3.2M seed round to support the next stage of growth for its independent audience intelligence and data infrastructure platform.

For Evorra, this is an important milestone, but it is also a reflection of where the wider market is moving.

Audience planning and activation have become more complex. Agencies and brands are working with more data sources, more identity signals, more activation routes and more governance requirements than ever before. At the same time, they are under more pressure to prove that the audiences they use are transparent, effective and built from trusted data.

That is the problem Evorra was built to solve.

The round was led by York IE, with participation from FirstPartyCapital, V-Ventures, the investment arm of Stichting Veronica, Advanceo Capital and EnterpriseTech 34, alongside a group of angel investors from across the data and media industries.

York IE and FirstPartyCapital are both follow-on investors, and the funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand Evorra’s data provider network.

The investment also follows a period of strong growth for the business, with Evorra’s annualised revenue growing 4x year on year as independent agencies, media partners and brands continue to adopt the platform.

Why independent infrastructure matters

Audience decisioning is no longer just a media planning task. It has become an infrastructure challenge.

Buyers need access to better data, but they also need to know where that data comes from, how it is being used and whether the same audience logic can be deployed consistently across different platforms.

That becomes even more important as AI starts to play a bigger role in how marketing teams plan, build and activate audiences. The more automated workflows become, the more important it is that the underlying data is structured, governed and transparent.

Evorra sits independently above media channels, helping agencies and brands connect otherwise hard-to-reach data sources, build audiences with clear provenance and activate them across the platforms that matter.

“We started Evorra because while data was becoming more critical for digital marketing, it was becoming a lot harder to manage efficiently. The opportunity was to bring a disciplined approach to connecting otherwise hard to reach external data. We knew audience intelligence could be built outside the walled gardens. It needed an independent data network, and an economic model that meant no buyer had to build it alone.”

Supporting the next stage of product and data growth

The funding will help Evorra continue to invest in the areas that matter most to agencies, brands and media partners.

That includes expanding the data provider network, improving audience intelligence and planning tools, supporting more activation routes and continuing to build transparency and provenance into every audience.

The goal is simple: to make it easier for teams to build better audiences, understand what sits behind them and activate them wherever they need to run.

“We invested in Evorra before the market had settled on where independent data infrastructure would sit. As AI accelerates marketing workflows, homegrown data solutions are being replaced with enterprise-grade infrastructure. Very few buyers can build that themselves, which is why we led this round.”

Marshall Everson, General Partner, York IE

Growing demand from independent agencies

Evorra’s growth has also been supported by increasing demand from independent agencies looking for enterprise-grade audience capability without having to build the infrastructure themselves.

In June, The Alliance of Media Independents launched AMIxEvorra, an exclusive instance of the platform for its 40+ member agencies. The first cohort includes The Specialist Works, VCCP Media, Mostly Media, MI Media, AMS Media Group and The Grove Media.

The partnership gives AMI agencies access to a dedicated Evorra instance, helping them build and activate audiences from trusted external and first-party data sources, with greater control and transparency.

“Provable effectiveness is top of the list for our members’ clients. Every agency that put Evorra to the test reached the same conclusion. It answers the real-world problems challenger brands are dealing with.”

Martin Woolley, Chair, The Alliance of Media Independents

What comes next

This next stage of growth will focus on continuing to build Evorra as the independent infrastructure layer for audience intelligence and activation.

That means:

  • Expanding the data provider network available through the platform
  • Building more advanced audience intelligence and planning capabilities
  • Supporting consistent audience activation across media channels
  • Strengthening transparency, provenance and governance across every audience
  • Helping agencies and brands access enterprise-grade data infrastructure without having to build it alone

Audience strategy should not be locked inside one platform, one data source or one walled garden. It should be transparent, flexible and built around the outcomes agencies and brands need to deliver.

By building independent infrastructure above media channels, Evorra is helping agencies, brands and partners create more transparent, addressable and effective audiences, wherever they need to activate them.
